Blood:Water Mission
I heard about this group of people a few months ago. When I first heard about them thought it was a cool idea, but didn’t know how I could help out. Since then I have gotten onto their website and found out a little bit more.
The mission of the blood:water mission is to get clean water and blood to people in Africa who need it. They want to place over one thousand wells throughout the continent. The reason that they have this so heavy on their hearts is that one reason that so many diseases are so prevalent in many parts of Africa is due to the water. Many diseases are found in the water, and these diseases are very deadly without the proper treatment. They also want to get clean blood: blood without the infection of the HIV virus.
All it takes is a one dollar donation and you can help provide water for one person for one year. Please at least check out the site, and give it some thought. Thanks!
