Hey everyone! I am just writing this post to tell you that, yes, this is a blog where the writing is centered around Jesus Christ, but I am going to start writing more, and in order to do that I am going to write more about things that are happening in my everyday life, you know things like, how I wish the smoke would go away outside, how great my cup of Starbucks was this morning, or anything else.
The point to this page is to still talk about how to live your life with a fire and a desire for Jesus Christ, but I am just going to begin writing more about what I am expereincing everyday here in Reno, Nevada as well.
How about some feedback. What do you think about me taking my blog in this direction. Do you think you will still enjoy reading it? Why or why not?

As most of you know, I have second page I recently got up and running. Well… My youth pastor and I have recently re-thought the direction of the site. So now it is going to be very Gospel centered, because what other way is there to be? So there is going to be a collection of quotes, book discussions, bible verses, and articles completely centered around the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We want this to be a place where people can come and learn more about the Gospel, and we also want this to be a place where new believers or questioners can come and seek some guidance on what and who the Gospel of Jesus Christ is all about. If you ever noticed, I had a great verse from the book of James as my “slogan” before. I have changed it to this:
Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. (Colossians 3:2 ESV).
I did this because I feel that it better describes what The Fire of New Desire is all about, yes the old verse was very nice, but this one hits me closer to home.
